For 30 years Thomas Jayne has been designing spaces that reflect a deep-rooted connection to a sense of time and place. His work, through Jayne Design Studio, consistently reaches international acclaim by top publications and institutions such as Architectural Digest, Elle Décor and the Institute of Classic Architecture.
Jayne's successful career began with comprehensive academic
training which continues to heavily influence his design
philosophy. Graduating from the University of Oregon School of
Architecture his career swiftly took him through some of the most
prestigious names in the arts including the Metropolitan Museum of
Art, J. Paul Getty Museum and Christies, before setting up Jayne
Design Studio in 1990. This appreciation for history and an acute
awareness of that which has come before has become a cornerstone of
his design philosophy today as he translates this into comfortable,
liveable spaces adapted to suit the needs of his clients.
